Experience
I am a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Barrister at Law with over 25 years Construction Experience. I have first-hand experience of large complex Construction Projects including; high tech, data centres, education, residential, pharmaceutical, power, medical and food projects. I also have extensive experience of Tendering, Procurement, Contract Administration, Project Management, Design Build Projects, Joint Venture Agreements, Novation Agreements and the preparation and Negotiation of Final Accounts. I have an in-depth knowledge of all the standard Forms of Construction Contracts and Methods of Measurement, in addition to working with and drafting Bespoke Project Agreements.
I have over 15 years’ experience in the negotiation and resolution of Disputes arising out of Construction Projects and I am a member of various SCSI and CIArb Dispute Resolution and Independent Expert Panels. I have served as a Mediator, Conciliator and Arbitrator and have published Reasoned Awards. I have also prepared many Expert Reports and appeared as an Expert in Arbitrations and Court Proceedings.
