A civil engineer with on-site practical skills, experience and understanding of the construction process and all aspects of contracts and procurement including dispute avoidance and resolution. He has a wide range of technical, contractual and managerial knowledge and has successfully delivered many projects as contractor, sub-contractor and client side.
William has acted as arbitrator, conciliator, expert and mediator in large commercial / construction disputes and as advocate in adjudication proceedings in Ireland / UK.
A neutral member on various dispute resolution panels: Engineers Ireland, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Construction Industry Federation, NRA/IFA and DBF.
He has conducted arbitrations, mediations and construction disputes and conciliations, has published awards and has participated in these proceedings including court and CPO oral hearings as party representative /expert witness. Commercial and contracts director, estimator and project engineer on a vast array of large and small building and civil engineering projects & M&E works including residential development and as a specialist sub-contractor.
